I am an evolutionary biologist building a research program exploring the evolution of the brain and cognition in animals. Intertwined with my passion for research is a commitment to engaging diverse communities of people with science through innovative programs that impact people beyond the walls of our academic institutions. Inclusion, equity, and diversity are core to effective science, and this philosophy is embedded throughout my research, teaching, and public engagement efforts. I am currently searching for a postdoctoral position.
