So the green anole finally made it! It’s been in the running for Critter of the Year in the Wild Amelia Nature Festival for the past few years. Amelia Island is a sea island here in northeast Florida, and the Wild Amelia Nature Festival is a very popular event with ecotours, nature photography classes and competition, and other nature-related activities.
