Anole Photo Of The Day

Tweeted by Meet Your Neighbors, who describes itself thusly: Founded in 2009, Meet Your Neighbours is a worldwide photographic initiative created by Niall Benvie and Clay Bolt. The project is dedicated to reconnecting people with the wildlife on their own doorsteps – and enriching their lives in the process. These creatures and plants are vital to people: they represent the first, and for some, the only contact with wild nature we have. Yet too often they are overlooked, undervalued.

On the Meet Your Neighbors page? I can’t either, except in a funny box on the right side off one of their pages. But they’ve recently tweeted on it and put it on Facebook. Go figure!

  2. Hi Jonathan,

Thanks for sharing! We don’t always duplicate the content on the website and blog so that is why you can’t find the anole image on the site. Each day we post a new photo from the archives on Facebook with an interesting bit of information. We’ll work on including an anole related blog post in the future!

    My best,
    Clay
