Professor of Biology and Director of the Living Earth Collaborative at Washington University in Saint Louis. I've spent my entire professional career studying anoles and have discovered that the more I learn about anoles, the more I realize I don't know.
Allisoni has got to be one of my favorite anoles, and its movements seem so gracile, I would love to see or photograph the Honduras variety in person.
If I remember correctly the Honduras lizards were actually the first animals to be named allisoni, back when the ones in Cuba were still considered porcatus; how they haven’t been named as separate subspecies yet is a mystery to me.
