Anoles in Texas!

It’s just come to AA‘s attention that the University of Texas School of Journalism posted an article on invasive anoles in Texas, featuring Yoel Stuart. Check out the article online, and the nifty, albeit chameleon-tainted, poster below.

I have a yard full of both green and brown anoles near Houston. Both species seem to coexist pretty well.

I haven’t seen the brown here (San Antonio), yet, so I can’t speak to any encroachment or it’s effects. But it irks me no end to see a college-level, or above, paper [published] with this kind of non-editing.
“The brown anole is found in the Houston and San Antonio be found in new regions in the southern portion of the state.”
