    Is this really to be considered a perch?
    I rather like the idea that this anole might be exhibiting dominance over what appears to be a Giant Mud Anole (Anolis a. mississippiensis).

      OK. I know Anolists are lumpers, but this level of ‘lumping’ is a bit overdone.
