I watch and admire the anoles in my garden and photograph them for reference material for my illustrations (Oliver the Overachiever & a new one in progress).
My anole hordes always emerge when I water our many plants and I tend to favor the green fellows. I’ve been known to give the browns ones a little blast from the hose so the green guys can get first dibs on the bugs that are flushed from hiding by the water.
